Pet Longevity: the veterinary-first exosome window is open

Every content audit we run finds the same white space: pet longevity. The market data is public: veterinary regenerative medicine runs ~$250M and compounds past 12%. The veterinary exosome segment is projected to grow from ~$185M (2024) to $711M by 2033, companion animals over half. No supplier is writing about it. A documented-EV program with clinic-first sequencing can own this category first.

Why the clinic door is open

Pet care spending crossed $175B globally with high-single-digit growth; premium veterinary services carry 40–60% premiums; and millennial and Gen-Z owners report willingness to pay four figures for chronic-condition treatment. Regenerative approaches already have clinic precedent in sport horses and companion osteoarthritis — the acceptance work is done; the product layer is not.

The entry sequence that works

The US regulatory-pathway precedent (a feline program winning conditional approval through single-indication focus) maps the sequence: one flagship program per clinic first — a skin-recovery comfort gel is the natural entry SKU — then the joint program from the same material chain, then the oral topper for the home bridge. Consumer retail comes last, after clinic education; therapeutic claims never come at all.

What the program needs

Characterized material on the same documentation chain as the human lines, adapted to each market's veterinary rules. Signed session and observation records. Species-appropriate formats: lick-tolerant gels, palatable toppers. The full design is in the Canine & Feline Joint Clinic playbook and the skin gel entry playbook.
