Category Signals We Track: Demand, Formats, Paperwork
We track the exosome shelf the way buyers do: segment growth, format moves, paperwork. Quarterly notes, observations only.
Demand movement. Three segments keep outgrowing the rest: senior wellness (gifting and daily rituals, often bought by adult children), post-procedure aftercare (clinic-adjacent retail), and companion-animal programs (veterinary-first, premium-pricing tolerance). Formats follow: gift-box jar sets, two-step activated sets, and clinic course kits.
Format premiumization. Premium pricing now sits with formats that solve logistics and adherence: lyophilized powders for shipping stability, quick-dissolve tablets for no-water rituals, single-dose units to keep preservative load down. Patch formats are still open ground, with almost no documented players.
The documentation gap. The widening divide on the shelf is not actives — it is paperwork. Suppliers with COAs, characterization baselines and filings on the material line are separating from adjective-only competitors, because channel buyers now run diligence as standard.
We publish this note quarterly, with past issues archived. The documentation gap is the one TONGNIAN was built for — see the platform in detail.
